Today at 11 am local time our International Secretary Marta Majerčík & Marian Majerčík organised on behalf of #MAFCSV memorial event on the occasion of #VeteransDay following the unveiling of new Slovak-English version of an information board about Jozef Gabčík at his Memorial in Poluvsie (Rajecké Teplice), Slovakia with representatives of British Embassy in Slovakia British Embassy, Bratislava and Slovenské veľvyslanectvo v Spojenom kráľovstve / Slovak Embassy in UK present.
It was our honor to receive a wreath on behalf of President of Slovak Republic Zuzana Čaputová carried by Guard of honor. 5.pluk špeciálneho určenia Jozefa Gabčíka Žilina was assisting with a wreath-laying ceremony.
We were delighted to welcome Scouts representatives and students of local Grammar school from Rajec, as well as the public, families, and media.
