Yesterday we had our 1st event in Slovakia in the occasion of Mrs. Anita Moravec Gard’s first visit to Slovakia at the Jozef Gabčík Memorial organised by our International Secretary Marta Majerčík and her husband Marian. The wreath-laying ceremony was a beautiful commemorative ceremony to Slovak hero #Anthropoid with many honorary guests attended from President of Slovak Republic team, Ministry of Defence, British Embassy, US Embassy, Military, Associations and Organisations who are taking special care of the memories of Slovak and Czech veterans. We were especially happy to have present students from local schools. We’ve had 2 debates, one with students at their school, one with public & media in the evening at Cooltajner. The media were with us all day and we made so many interviews. We organised for Anita to spend time with Jozef Gabčík’s family – ‘Their Anthropoid story continues’. We’d like to thank all who came and participated at this event. We look forward to continuing with our activities with #mafcsv .
